General Grant is not my favorite.
General Sherman is damn sure not my favorite. (As a Georgian, it is my birthright to say so).
General George H. Thomas is my favorite.
General William Starke Rosecrans is my second favorite. General Grant, General Sherman, and Abe Lincoln have given him a bad rap.
